We have 34 permanently employed local staff,26 of whom are forest rangers. 14 have been trained at the Kenya Wildlife Service training school, Manyani where they have obtained the KPR status. These rangers play critical role in raising forest conservation awareness, gathering intelligence, conflict management and wildlife monitoring and collecting basic forest data.
